High Quality Education

High Quality Education
Education is offered through both public and private institutions. The federal government provides extensive funding for public school education, and maintains a consistently high quality level of education throughout the country. Free public school education is provided for all students in primary school to secondary school (Kindergarten to Grade 12 high school). Additionally, Canada has some of the most well renowned and top ranking postsecondary institutions in the world, including University of Toronto, McMaster University and McGill University, to name a few. Each institution offers extensive facilities, and a variety of programs, making Canadian students some of the most educated and qualified around the world. The government of Canada also provides financial assistance through several loans, bursaries, and grants based on academic achievement and family income in order to provide Canadian students with access to a high quality education.
